ROAD TRIP: A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT ON TEN COMMANDMENTS
Have you ever been on a road trip? When we think of road trips, we might think of gas station snacks, singing along to our favorite songs, and taking in the sights — but when the Israelites went on a “road trip” of their own through the wilderness, it was a little less glamorous. Okay, it was a lot less glamorous. In this series, we’ll introduce kids to some of God’s “rules of the road,” from Moses and the ten commandments all the way to what Jesus called the Greatest Commandment — to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Together, we’ll discover that we can love God and others by putting God first, worshiping God, loving our families, and loving everyone.
New? Here’s what to expect!
At Living Faith our kids (birth through 3rd grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
Your First Visit
During your first visit to Living Faith Kids, we’ll get your family registered and checked in. We recommend coming about 10 minutes early to give yourself a little extra time to complete the process. Next, one of our volunteers will walk your child back to our children’s ministry area.
When checking in for the first time, we’ll ask for the following personal information – no worries, we value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone.
- Parent/Guardian Name(s)
- Child’s Name
- Child’s Birthdate
- Home Address
- Phone Number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child
How Check In Works
Before Service: You can check your child in at our kiosk in the foyer. Once checked in, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion, while you hang on to the matching tag.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during service, one of our volunteers will come find you.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to our children’s ministry area and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
